Our story starts with two girls in the pursuit of a crown.
The dynamic duo, better known as “Batman and Robin,” began in 2008 when Ashley and Destiny met through their pageant mom/interview coach, Miss Denise Mattingly. They remained friends throughout the years when a volunteer opportunity brought the duo back together. Their individual and collective mission is to empower women of all ages with the experiences and skills they have gained throughout their pageant and professional careers. Dr. Ashley Anderson
Dr. Ashley Anderson entered the pageant industry at the age of 16. Over the last 22 years, she’s participated in all aspects of the sport and has held numerous titles including Ms. Kentucky United States 2013, Miss Black Ohio 2010, (Top 5 at Miss Black USA) and Miss University of Louisville 2008. She placed 1st runner up at the Miss Kentucky pageant (Miss America system), and in 2014 she was recognized as Glamour Magazine’s Phenomenal Woman of the Year in Kentucky. Dr. Anderson has coached, judged, emceed and directed on the local, state and national level.
Dr. Ashley Anderson is co-owner of Athena Health and Wellness, a women’s health practice that is the first of its kind in Louisville. Beyond managing Athena, Ashley practices there as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Anderson received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Berea College. She received her Masters in Nursing-Women Health Nurse Practitioner as well as her PhD, from the University of Louisville. She resides in the Louisville area with her two sons Atlas and Ace.
Destiny has been in the pageant industry since she was six months old. She has been involved in all aspects of pageantry from competing, auditing, judging, emceeing, directing, volunteering, and even a pageant mom. Some of her highest placements have been top 5 at Miss KY USA 2010 & 2011; top 15 at Miss Kentucky County Fair 2011, top 5 at Miss IN USA 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016; and top 16 at Miss United States 2016, just to name a few. One of her greatest accomplishments was raising over $20,000 for the Walk to END Alzheimer’s through the Walk to Remember pageant that she organized.
Destiny graduated from the University of Louisville with a double major in Accounting and Management with a minor in Mathematics. She is the owner of an online children’s clothing boutique, Charlotte James Boutique. She married her high school sweetheart, and they have 2 daughters, Charlotte and Makenzie.
